Attitude towards tele rehabilitation-based therapy services and its associated factors among health professional working in specialized teaching hospitals in Amhara region, Northwest Ethiopia

Tele-rehabilitation is part of Tele-health (TH) which provides a rehabilitation service at distance through using telecommunication technology. The lack skilled staff, accessibility concerns, high transportation costs, lengthy waiting times, and mobility issues make face-to-face treatment difficult. Therefore, this study aimed to assess attitudes its associated factors health professionals towards TR services. An institutional-based cross-sectional design was conducted among 408 from March April 2021. A simple random sampling technique applied select participants. Epi-data 3.1 versions software used for data entry, SPSS version 20 the analysis. bi-variable multivariable logistic regression determine with attitude tele-rehabilitation. total participants enrolled in study, response rate 95.5%. majority 285(69.9%) had good tele rehabilitation-based Good knowledge [AOR = 1.76, 95%, CI: 1.078, 2.879], digitally literate 1.74, 1.028, 2.954], perception on security privacy 0.56, 95%,CI: 0.333, 0.944], owns smart mobile phone 1.9,95%,CI: 1.007, 3.781] were significantly service. In respondents Having own mobile, rehabilitation, digital literacy, found be government other responsible entities should consider enacting systems strategies encourage use technologies management disability, chronic diseases rural patients.
